Likes: exploring, experimenting with different medical herbs to make better medicine, her brothers, jasmine tea.
Dislikes: participating in Shrine rituals, bitter alcohol, thunder storms, when her brothers or her father refuses to tell her stories.

Personality:
light-hearted, Akina usually wears a smile upon her face, sometimes people mistake her for being an air head and usually wont take her seriously. When creating a new form of medicine, instead of testing it on herself, she will regularly go and find one of her brothers and use them as her guinea pigs. When she really gets into the ‘groove’ of creating new medicines, she will seem like a mad scientist, usually cackling to herself.

Fights:
During fights, she will use her medical tools such as small knives and drugs that can paralyse the opponent for a short amount of time.
She will use physiological warfare in her fights, sometimes leading her to dress in a Miko outfit and acting like she is possessed and predicting her opponents deaths. Another favourite of her is to act innocent and to wait for her opponent to let their guard down until attacking (ie. Offering tea that’s been laced with drugs)

History:
Akina grew up in a shrine with her mother and two brothers while her father traveled around Japan. Over time, she was taught so that she would one day take her mothers place as a Miko of the shrine. While she was more interested in making healing medicines and traveling, she one day sneaked onto her brothers traveling cart and left. Her brothers soon discovered her and tried to bring her home. After a long argument between her and her brothers they finally gave in and allowed her to stay with them.
Not to long after, Akina met a boy by the name of Nyonu, who asked her if she would be willing to join his branch team for the SDL duels. She agreed without telling her brothers. The head of the Hana-Gumi caught wind of Akina being a medical specialists and wanted her to be part of the Purple team, after some convincing she was allowed to stay within the green team.
After her first group fight (which happened within a bar evidently) The branch broke off from the Hana-Gumi and have now resided withing their own team.
Soon after, Akina herself broke off from the Green spiketails and opened up her own clinic which resulted in her own team being made.

- Her name translates to Spring Flower (Akina) Forest (Hayashi)
-her favourite flowers are Iris tectorum’s
-Japaneses is the only language she knows
-She has a scar on her back that shes extremely self contentious about.


Notes:
Cailen will always be seen with Akina. He does menial chores for her, doing whatever he can to help her medicine practice. He lives to serve. (see: [link] for more details)
